Southern Rail train passengers are being warned to expect severe disruption after a person was hit by a train between the Horsham, Haywards Heath station និង អាកាសយានដ្ឋាន Gatwick នៅ​ក្នុង​ចក្រភព​អង់គ្លេស។

Southern Rail issued the travel advisory via Twitter stating: “It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Haywards Heath and Gatwick Airport.

“All lines are blocked between these stations whilst the emergency services work to deal with this tragedy.”

The British Transport Police confirmed a woman died at Three Bridges station. Officers are now working to identify her and inform her family, a spokesman said.

Although 2 of the 4 lines between the stations have been reopened, one in each direction, delays, and cancellations are expected until 2 pm today, October 14, 2019, Southern Rail said.

At 4:24 pm, a Southern Rail spokesperson said the trains between Horsham, Haywards Heath, and Gatwick Airport are now returning to normal, however, may still be delayed, canceled or revised.
