Ottawa Tourism continually works with the local trade to ensure holidaymakers enjoy world-class levels of service throughout the city.

In its latest initiative, the tourist board has teamed up with Algonquin College and La Cité, to launch Ottawa Host Customer Service Training, a free training tool aimed at empowering the capital’s hotel, attraction, restaurant, and transportation frontline staff with the knowledge and information needed to provide outstanding customer service to Ottawa’s visitors.

The training consists of two modules: I Know #MyOttawa, dedicated to destination knowledge, and I Host #MyOttawa, dedicated to customer service excellence. Upon completing the modules, participants receive a certificate bearing their name, confirming the successful completion of the Ottawa Host Customer Service Training.
