In Spain, Visit Benidorm Tourist Board has appointed Leire Bilbao as the new manager of the Tourist Board, taking over the position held by Yolanda Pickett Fernandez.
With extensive experience in regional tourism, Bilbao was head of marketing for 11 years at Benidorm’s top theme park, Terra Natura.
Benidorm attracts over 1.5 million visitors from the UK, with an increase in numbers this year, making up 40% of the total visitors to this part of the Costa Blanca. Spaniards themselves make up the largest number of visitors
